Trinity is a friendly and welcoming congregation of people from various backgrounds, many of whom come from other parts of the country. We have military families, retirees, and people who grew up in Sanford. Many folks have come to Trinity simply because they love the warmth and fellowship that they find here. We enjoy one another’s company, and we love serving our Lord Jesus Christ.
Since we are the only Lutheran church in Lee County, we have a number of Missouri Synod, ELCA and other Lutherans among us. We also have members who grew up in other denominations, including Baptist, Catholic, Methodist and others. All baptized Christians are invited to receive Communion here.
Trinity Lutheran Church has been serving the Sanford, North Carolina community since its founding in 1944. We are part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and the North Carolina Synod. You are cordially invited to join with us in serving the community, the nation and the world.
